Seeking to quash the charge sheet in S.T.C.No.76 of 2022 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, F.T.C at Magisterial Level at Karur, this criminal original petition is filed.

When the matter came up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner indicated that the trial is concluded and the matter was posted on 17.02.2026 for pronouncing judgment by the learned Judicial Magistrate, FTC at Matisterial Level at Karur. 3.As the substantive evidence had already come on record and documents have also been marked and arguments also concluded, at this stage, this Court cannot conduct a mini trial. This Court, exercising its jurisdiction under Section 528 BNSS, cannot conduct a roving enquiry or mini trial as held by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Gunmala Sales Private Limited Vs., Anu Mehta and others reported in (2015) 1 SCC

103. Hence, this Court is not inclined to quash the proceedings. 4.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected Miscellanous Petitions is closed.

5. However, the learned Judicial Magistrate, F.T.C at Magisterial Level at Karur, shall complete the trial in S.T.C.No.76 of 2022 and 2/4

dispose of the same within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
