*********** This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction to the respondents to issue patta in the name of the petitioner for his property comprised in Survey No.505/19 situate at Nakkalapatti Village, Usilampatti Taluk, Madurai District based on the petitioner's representation dated 10.01.2022 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2.According to the petitioner, he is the absolute owner of the aforementioned property and he and his predecessors in title are in possession of the same for the past 35 years. The petitioner has also submitted a representation on 10.01.2022 with the respondents seeking for a patta. Since the said representation is not considered till date, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition. 1/3

3.Heard Mr.C.Senthil Murugan, learned Counsel for the writ petitioner and Mr.M.Lingadurai, learned Special Government Pleader who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. 4.The relief sought for by the petitioner is an innocuous one. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner's representation seeking for issuance of patta in his name for the aforementioned property is considered on merits and in accordance with law after hearing all the necessary parties including the petitioner.

5.Accordingly, this Court directs the the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.01.2022 seeking for issuance of patta for the property in survey No.505/19, situate at Nakkalapatti Village, Usilampatti Taluk, Madurai District and pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law after hearing all the necessary parties including the petitioner and also affording a fair opportunity of hearing to them within a period of twelve [12] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
