J U D G M E N T

This Civil Miscellaneous Appeal has been filed by the husband against the judgment and award, dated 23.12.2021 made in I.D.O.P.No.18 of 2019 on the file of the Additional District Court (Fast Track Court), Tenkasi.

2. This matter was referred to the Mediation Centre, by this Court on 01.12.2022, directing the parties to appear before the Mediation Centre attached to this Court.

3. On 24.03.2023, before the Mediation Centre, both the parties settled their issues amicably and decided to give quietus to this appeal. To that effect, Memo of Compromise-cum-Settlement Agreement has been arrived at between the parties on 24.03.2023.

4. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the appellant seeks permission of this Court to not press this appeal as the parties have already settled their issues amicably and makes endorsement to that effect. Page No. 2 of 4

5. In view of the endorsement made, the Civil Miscellaneous Appeal is dismissed as not pressed. The above Memo of Compromise-cum-Settlement Agreement dated 24.03.2023 shall form part of the decree. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
