ORDER
This writ petition is filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the third respondent to grant patta in the name of the petitioner for the land and building situated in Natham Survey No.300, Mayladumparai Village, Andipatti Taluk, Theni District in an extent of 12 cents by considering the petitioner's representation dated 16.01.2024 within a time stipulated by this Court.
2.Mrs.K.Christy Thebaral, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that on 03.06.2022 the petitioner has given an application to the respondents for issuance of patta and thereafter, on 16.01.2024, he sent a reminder representation. However, the respondents have not consider the same. 2/5
Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court. He would further submit that it would suffice if the representation of the petitioner is disposed of by the respondents, on merits and in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.

Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for by this petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner in this Writ Petition, directs the respondents to pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner, dated 16.01.2024, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the interested parties, if any, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
