ORDER : The Court made the following order :- Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent.

2. The petitioner is in custody since 31.01.2020 for the offences under Sections 294(b), 324, 506(ii) and 307 of I.P.C., in Crime No.59 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police. He seeks bail.

3. The case of the prosecution is that under the influence of alcohol, the petitioner attacked three women with Aruval and caused them injuries.

4.The learned Government Advocate states that one victim by name Vasanthi has been in hospital since 30.01.2020. 5.In as much as the attack appears to be wanton and without any justification. Eventhough, the learned counsel for the petitioner https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

CRL OP(MD). No.2609 of 2020 pleads several mitigating circumstances, I am of the view that it is not a fit case for grant of bail.

6. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
