By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

2. Mr.S.Chandrasekar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor accepts notice for the respondents.

3. Mr.K.Arunraj, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is one of the members of Nehruji Kabadi Club and that Kabadi Tournament is scheduled to be conducted on 27.02.2021 at Mariyamman Kovil Thidal, Thirupalthurai, Thiruvalarsolai Post, Sri Rengam Taluk, Trichy District. His further contention is that he submitted a representation dated 05.02.2021 to the second respondent seeking permission to conduct the said Tournament and till date, no action has been taken by the respondents.

4. In the circumstances, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court directs the second https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

WP(MD)No.3278 of 2021 respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law based on findings and on merits, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order/uploading of the order.

5. With the above observation, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
