ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to take steps to demarcate and subdivide the petitoner's property comprised in S.No.377/1F situated at Karuppur Village, Manapparai Taluk, Trichy District based on the petitoner's representation dated 10.12.2024.

2. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the 1st and 2nd respondents brought to the notice of this Court that the petitioner himself restricted his prayer only for survey and he was not insisting on issuance of patta and for that reason he gave a letter on 06.01.2025.

4. The learned Counsel appearing for the writ petitioner would submit that he was unaware of the said letter and therefore he seeks time to get necessary instructions from the petitioner. However, the petitioner is satisfied, if the survey alone conducted.

5. In view of the above, this writ petition is allowed with a direction to the second respondent to conduct survey based on the petitioner's application dated 10.12.2024 and demarcate the petitioner's property comprised in S.F.No.377/1F measuring to an extent of 94.50ares situated at Trichy District within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above said directions, the Writ Petition is allowed. No costs.
