ORDER
This petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C seeking transfer of investigation in connection with the Criminal case registered in Crime No. 6 of 2015 on the file of the second respondent police to any other competent Inspector of Police in Theni District and consequently direct the first respondent to monitor the investigation in Crime No. 6 of 2015.
2. The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) would submit that the case has been registered on 07.04.2015 and the matter has also been taken up for proper investigation and hence, it is not fair on the part of the petitioner to seek such prayer at this stage. However, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submitted that the investigation may be directed to be monitored by the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Uthamapalayam Sub Division.
3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Uthamapalaym Sub Division to monitor the investigation in Crime No. 6 of 2015 and the second respondent is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report as expeditiously as possible, preferably within 6 months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
