O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to complete the investigation expeditiously and file a charge sheet in Crime No.699 of 2013 on the file of the second respondent before the Jurisdictional Magistrate in accordance with law.

2. According to the petitioner, he has given a complaint for the offences under Sections 341, 323, 427 and 506(i) of the Indian Penal Code. On 26.12.2013, based on the above said complaint, a case has been registered by the second respondent police in Crime No.699 of 2013. Even though, the case was registered in the month of December, 2013, investigation has not yet been completed.

3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the investigation in Crime No.699 of 2013 was completed and final report will be filed, within a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

period of one month, before the concerned Jurisdictional Court.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the fact that the case was registered as early as on 26.12.2013, the second respondent police is directed to file a final report, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
