The petitioner has come forward to file this writ petition seeking a direction to consider his representation made to close the TASMAC shop on the date of Masimagam scheduled to be held on 26.02.2021. Incidentally, the petitioner has sought for a request to declare as a local holiday.

2. Inasmuch as the aforesaid requests are pending consideration with the respondent No.2, we call upon the said authority to look into the same and pass appropriate orders within one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
