O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Thirupatur to dispose of C.C.No.2 of 2014.

2.The grievance of the petitioners is that even though C.C.No.2 of 2014 is pending from the year 2014, there is no progress in the trial. Hence the petitioners seek for a direction to speedy disposal of the said case by the concerned Court.

3.Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, Mr.K.K.Ramakrishnan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent on instructions would submit that already the trial has been commenced by the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate and the matter is posted for cross-examination of P.W.1 to P.W.3 on 27.07.2019.

4.Since the matter is pending from the year 2014, this Court directs the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Thirupatur, to complete the trial and dispose of the case within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.This Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of with the above directions.
