O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent to file the final report in Crime No.914 of 2018, dated 21.12.2018, on the file of the respondent within the time limit to be fixed by this Court.

2. According to the petitioner, he has given a complaint for the offences under Sections 147, 294(b), 324 and 506 (i) of I.P.C. On 21.12.2018, based on the above said complaint, a case has been registered by the respondent police in Crime No.914 of 2018. Even though, the case was registered in the month of December 2018, investigation has not yet been completed.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police on instructions submitted that the respondent police has commenced their investigation and he will complete the investigation and file final report, within a period of one month before the concerned Jurisdictional Court.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file final report, within a period of one month, from the date of receipt of copy of the order.

5. With the above observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
