ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by N.SATHISH KUMAR, J.) This writ petition is filed seeking a writ of mandamus forbearing the respondents from mandating the Appeal Examiners/Passing Officers of the Principal Seat and Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court to get the concurrence of the respondents before passing and numbering the case and to forbear them from requiring additional copies of the typed set, if any of the Registrars of the Principal Seat and Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court or the Judges of the District Judiciary are arrayed as a party to the proceedings before this Court.
2.The main grievance expressed by the learned counsel for the petitioner is that at the time of filing cases, the Registry has been insisting upon the production of additional copies of the typed set on the 2/5
ground that officials of the Registry or members of the District Judiciary have been impleaded as parties to the proceedings. 3.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents submitted that appropriate instructions have already been issued to the Registry not to insist upon any such additional copies 4.In view of the above submission, no further orders are required in this matter. Accordingly, this writ petition is closed. The Registrar General is directed to ensure that necessary instructions are issued to all numbering officials that additional copies of pleadings or typed sets shall not be insisted upon on the ground that the Registry or members of the District Judiciary have been impleaded as parties to the proceedings. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. There shall be no order as to costs. [N.S.K., J.] & [M.J.R., J.] 02.06.2026 Index :Yes/No Internet :Yes ta 3/5
