O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent Police not to interfere in the civil dispute and thereby restraining the first respondent from harassing the petitioner under the guise of enquiry, based on the complaint given by the second respondent or his men.

2.Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, Mr.K.K.Ramakrishnan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, appearing for the first respondent, on instructions, submitted that, based on the complaint given by the second respondent against the petitioner herein, enquiry has been conducted and the same was closed by the first respondent Police.

3.Recording the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Original Petition stands closed. However, if any such complaint is filed against the petitioner herein with regard to this civil dispute, the first respondent Police is directed not to harass him.
