O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the second respondent Police not to harass the petitioners under the guise of enquiry.

2.According to the petitioners, there was a communal clash between them and the third respondent's group with regard to celebration of the temple festival. Due to which, the third respondent preferred a complaint to the second respondent Police. The grievance of the petitioners is that the second respondent Police frequently called upon the petitioners for enquiry and thereby harassing them.

3.Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, Mr.K.K.Ramakrishnan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, submitted that based on the complaint given by the third respondent, an https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

enquiry has been conducted and the same was closed by the respondent Police. He further submitted that only for the purpose of enquiry, the second respondent Police called upon the petitioners and the respondent Police neither harassed the petitioners nor intended to harass them.

4.Recording the above said submission, the Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
