The petitioner/ the defacto complainant in Spl.SC No.92 of 2022, on the file of the Fast Track Mahila Court at Srivilliputhur, Virudhunagar has filed this Criminal Original Petition, seeking speedy disposal of the above case.

2.Today(15.07.2024), when this Criminal Original Petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondents submits that totally 31 witnesses have been cited in Spl.SC No.92 of 2022 and 19 witnesses have already been examined as on 16.07.2024. He further submits that the trial would be completed within a reasonable period.

3.Recording the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), this Criminal Original petition is disposed of with a direction to the learned Judge, Fast Track Mahila Court at Srivilliputhur, Virudhunagar to dispose of the case in Spl.SC No.92 of 2022 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
