ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd and 3rd respondents police to not to interfere with family dispute without following due process of law and not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry by considering the petitioner's representation dated 30.01.2025

2. According to the petitioner there is family dispute between the petitioner and his wife. His wife had lodged a complaint before the second respondent and the same is pending without any progress. The respondents 2 and 3 are very often interfering with the family dispute and also started to harass the petitioner. Hence he has sent a representation on 30.01.2025, but the same has not been considered by the respondent police, hence he has filed the above petition.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that there is a family dispute between the petitioner and the fourth respondent and thereby the fourth respondent had lodged a compliant before the second respondent and now the second respondent is enquiring the matter and now the matter is under enquiry 2/5

and the same will be completed as early as possible and during enquiry they have not harassed the petitioner.

4. In view of the representations made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor and recording the same, it is appropriate to direct the second respondent to complete the enquiry proceedings as early as possible preferably within a period of 15 days from the date of this order.

5. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
