Pursuant to the compromise entered between the employer and employee, the writ appeal came to be disposed of recording the compromise vide order dated 27.06.2019.

2. This contempt petition is filed stating that as per the terms of the compromise, employer failed to pay the pension arrears and gratuity.

3. Today, the learned counsel for the contemnor furnished the calculation sheet regarding the payment of Provident Fund, pension arrears and gratuity.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the gratuity of Rs.1,64,325/- was paid on 11.03.2020 is not in terms of the compromise and the petitioner is entitled for more than Rs.2,00,000/- as gratuity. 2/4

5. This Court is not inclined to look into the other fact put forth by the petitioner and the respondent. As far as the contempt petition is concerned, the parties have settled among themselves and entered into compromise, based on that, this court disposed of the writ appeal. If there is any difference in gratuity or any other benefits, the petitioner has to approach the appropriate forum for rectification, through contempt petition the said grievance cannot redressed.
