Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to survey the land in Survey no.242/2A2B and 242/6 Patta No.3192, 356/2B Patta No.3546 and 362/8B Patta No.3547, situated at A.Pudur Village, Natham Group, Kamuthi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District, on the basis of the petitioner's representation, dated 23.12.2024.

ORDER

The petitioner seeks issuance of writ of mandamus, to direct the respondents to dispose of her representation, dated 23.12.2024, pursuant to her application, dated 30.07.2024, for survey of her land.

2. Learned Additional Government Pleader would submit that there is a likelihood of law and order situation arising at the time of conducting survey and hence respondents 1 and 2 may be directed to seek assistance of jurisdictional police officials, while conducting survey.

3. Recording the said submission of the learned Additional Government Pleader, this Writ Petition is allowed, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to survey the petitioner's land in Survey No.242/2A2B and 242/6 Patta No.3192, 356/2B Patta No.3546 and 362/8B Patta No.3547, situated at A.Pudur Village, Natham Group, Kamuthi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District, in furtherance of the petitioner's representation, dated 23.12.2024, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. It is made clear that respondents 1 and 2 are at liberty to seek the help of jurisdictional

police officials for adequate protection at the time of survey, to prevent any law and order situation. No costs.
