RESPONDENT/RESPONDENT Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to extend the time for the period of order passed by this Honourable Court in Crl.O.P.(MD) NO.399 of 2021 dated 18/01/2021. Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.V.ILLANCHEZIAN, Advocate for the petitioner and of Mr.M.V.CHANDRASEKARAN, Government Advocate(Crl. Side) on behalf of the Respondent, the Court made the following order:- This petition is filed to extend the time limit of the petitioner's surrender and execute sureties in Crl.O.P(MD)No.399 of 2021, dated 18.01.2021.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was granted anticipatory bail by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD).No.399 of 2021 and one of the condition is that the petitioner has to deposit for a sum of Rs.15,000/- within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of that order. The petitioner was unable to mobilize the fund and to execute the sureties. He further submitted that on 29.01.2021 he had taken a Demand Draft in favour of the Rajaji Government Hospital, Madurai and the same has also been produced to the Administrative office of the said hospital and the said hospital has given a receipt to that effect. Hence, he seeks extension of time.

CRL MP(MD) No.1417 of 2021 3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) for the respondent. 4.Considering the reasons stated in the petition, this petition is ordered and the time for surrender by the petitioner before the concerned Court and executing the sureties is extended by two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, failing which the anticipatory bail already granted by this Court shall stand cancelled. It is made clear that no further extension will be granted and if the petitioner fails to comply with the order within the stipulated period, the respondent police shall secure the petitioners and proceed in accordance with law. 5.Accordingly, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is allowed. sd/- 24/02/2021 / TRUE COPY / / /2021 Sub-Assistant Registrar (C.S.)
