ORDER

When the matter is taken up for hearing, there is no representation on the side of the petitioners.

2. The learned Counsel appearing for the second respondent brought to the knowledge of this Court that already this Court passed an order in Crl.R.C. (MD)No.306 of 2024, dated 20.12.2024, wherein, this Court directed the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Kuzhithurai to try both the cases in S.T.C.No.174 of 2024 and C.C.No.12 of 2023 simultaneously following the procedures and guidelines meant for trying the case and the case in counter. Therefore, this petition has become infructuous. 2/4

3. Since already this Court passed an order to conduct this case simultaneously along with S.T.C.No.174 of 2024, no further orders are required to be passed in this case.

4. In view of the same, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed. Since the case is pending from 2022, the Trial Court is directed to complete the trial and dispose of the case as early as possible without giving any long adjournment.
