PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying this Court to transfer investigation of the case in Cr.No.20 of 2020, pending on the file of the 10th respondent police to any other independent agency or C.B.C.I.D. Officer under the direct supervision of the 5th respondent and further to file the final report in the said case within a reasonable time period to be fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to transfer the investigation in Cr.No.20 of 2020.

2.It is seen that the petitioner is an accused in crime No.20 of 2020.

3.The accused cannot choose the investigation agency on his own whims and fancies. Therefore, the criminal original petition is dismissed as devoid of merits.
