Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.R.UDHAYA KUMAR, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.P.KANDASAMY Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the Respondent the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed praying to extend the time to surrender and execute the sureties before the Court concerned, as per the order dated 15.12.2016.
2. Heard both sides.
3. Perusal of the records would show that anticipatory bail was granted as per the order of this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.23368 of 2016, dated 15.12.2016, directing the petitioner to appear before the concerned Court, within 15 days from the date on which the order copy is made ready. The petitioner admitted that he received the copy of the order on 23.12.2016, but he failed to appear before the concerned Court, within the stipulated time and the present application has been filed on 09.01.2017. Hence, this petition is out of time.
4. Considering the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, this Court is inclined to extend the time for 10 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, on https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
payment of cost of Rs.500 (Rupees Five Hundred only) to the District Legal Aid Committee, Melur, Madurai.
