This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to disburse the compensation amount to the petitioner under Chief Minister's Relief Fund due to the sudden death of his son due to electric shock on 29.12.2018. 2.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted that the request made by the petitioner was considered and through G.O.(2D)No.55, dated 10.09.2020, a compensation of Rs.1,00,000/- was fixed to be paid to the petitioner from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund. When this amount was sent to the petitioner, the petitioner refused to receive the amount and was insisting for payment of Rs.3,00,000/-.

3.Recording the above submission, this Writ Petition is disposed of. It is left open to the petitioner to receive the compensation of Rs.1,00,000/- from the respondents. No costs. Index :Yes / No 11.10.2023 NCC : Yes/No 2/4
