Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents herein to look into the grievance of the petitioner expressed in the representation, dated 07.02.2020 and thereby accord permission to conduct "Rekala Race in the eve of "Centenary year for the Perungamanallur Freedom Fighters Sacrifice" and to provide adequate police protection on 01.03.2020 at about 07.00 a.m till 11.00 a.m at Cumbum to Cuddalore main road about 8km.

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents herein to look into the grievance of the petitioner expressed in the representation, dated 07.02.2020 and thereby accord permission to conduct "Rekala Race in the eve of "Centenary year for the Perungamanallur Freedom Fighters Sacrifice" and to provide adequate police protection on 01.03.2020 at about 07.00 a.m till 11.00 a.m at Cumbum to Cuddalore main road about 8km. 2.Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents.
