: Respondents PRAYER : Petition is filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code praying to direct the respondents No.2 and 3 and their officials not to harass the petitioner and her family members unnecessarily against law under the guise of enquiry on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 17.06.2019. ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondent police not to harass the petitioner and her family members under the guise of enquiry.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner's sons are said to have involved in a criminal case and under the guise of enquiry with regard to the said case, the third respondent / Inspector of Police is harassing the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that the petitioner's three sons are accused in a criminal case for selling of gutka. In the course of investigation, the third respondent has investigated the petitioner and conducted a search in the petitioner's premises. He would further submit that the respondent police did not harass the petitioner nor intent to harass her.

4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the fact that the third respondent is investigating the crime, in which the petitioner's sons have involved, the petitioner is directed to cooperate with the respondent for investigation. However, in the course of investigation, the respondents are directed not to harass the petitioner.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
