This habeas corpus petition has been filed by the maternal uncle of the detenu, seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to produce the body or person of the Petitioner's son-in-law namely, Ajith, son of Nagaraj, aged about 25 years before this Court and set him at liberty. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court.

3.The maternal uncle of the detenue/Ajith is the Petitioner. Alleging that the said Ajith had gone missing and after giving complaint to the respondents Police, the present Habeas Corpus Petition is filed. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions from the respondents-Police, submitted that the detenu was secured and that he went to Chennai and secured a job there.The Petitioner as well as the detenue present before this Court. When the detenu was enquired, he expressed his willingness to join with his maternal uncle, the Petitioner 2/4

herein.

5.Recording the above facts, the Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
