This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to quash the Crime No.23 of 2014 on the file of the Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, South Gate, Madurai.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (crl.side) for the 1st respondent would submit that in this case charge sheet has already been filed before the Additional Mahila Court, Madurai.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also dismissed. However, the concerned Judge is directed to consider the charge sheet without any further delay. The direction of this court is not to be read by the concerned Judge as an indication of any intention of this Court. The learned Judge is also directed to file a report informing the reason for delay in consideration of the charge sheet and report compliance.
