PETITIONER / ACCUSED Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to accept the affidavit filed on behalf of the 1st Petitioner/Respondent and grant further 3 months time to complete the investigation and file the Final Report and thus render justice.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.P.KANDASAMY, Government Advocate, for the petitioner and of Mr.J.POOVENTHERA RAJAN for the Petitioner / Accused, the court made the following order:- Heard. Perused the materials available on record. 2.This application is filed by the Petitioner to accept the affidavit filed on behalf of the first Petitioner/respondent and to grant further three months time to complete the investigation and to file the final report.

3.It is stated in the affidavit filed by the Inspector of Police, Vigilance and Anti-Corruption, Thoothukudi that as directed by this Court, the investigation of this case in Crime No.1 of 2014 has been completed and Sanction Order against the Accused Officer/Respondent/Petitioner-Tr.G.Raju is not yet received from the Sanctioning Authority to prosecute the Accused Officer before the Court of Law and on obtaining Sanction Order, the investigation will be https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ completed and final report will be filed.

3.Having considered the averments made in the affidavit enclosed along with the Petition, two months time from today is granted to the Petitioner to complete the investigation in Crime No.1 of 2014 and also to file the final report.

4.This application is ordered, accordingly.
