No.AEE/D/Tky/F. theft/ Door No.238/2025 dated 23.10.2025 quash the same as illegal, arbitrary and directing the respondents to restore the Electricity connection No.0751001630.

ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed challenging the provisional assessment order issued by the respondents herein under Section 126(1) of the Electricity Act, 2003.

2. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents brought to the notice of the Court that after considering the explanation offered by the writ petitioner, final assessment order has been issued on 13.11.2025 and therefore, the present writ petition is not maintainable.

3. Considering the above said facts, this writ petition stands disposed of with liberty to the writ petitioner to challenge the final assessment order by way of statutory appeal, if he is so advised. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
