ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the first information report in Crime No.61 of 2022 on the file of the first respondent, the Sub-Inspector of Police, Chinnamanur Police Station, 2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that during pendency of this petition, the matter was compromised in between the parties, based on which, this Court may direct the first respondent Police to close the case as "Action Dropped".

3.The learned counsel appearing for the second respondent submitted that a counter case in Cr.No.60 of 2022 is also pending against the second respondent on the file of the first respondent Police and the same may be closed.
4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent submitted that if the parties entered into compromise in both cases, ie., Cr.Nos.60 and 61 of 2022, the same will be closed as "Action Dropped".
5.In view of the above, the parties are directed to appear before the first respondent police and produce relevant documents with regard to the compromise arrived at between them. If any document and memo of compromise is filed, the first respondent Police shall close both the cases in Cr.Nos.60 and 61 of 2022 as "Action Dropped". Accordingly, this criminal original petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
