ORDER

This contempt petition has been filed complaining wilful disobedience of the order passed in W.P(MD)No.11848 of 2024 by order dated 07.06.2024, the Joint Commissioner HR&CE, Madurai, was directed to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 24.05.2024. 2.When the matter came up for hearing, the learned counsel submits that after finding that the claim of the petitioner was with reference to Arulmigu Karuppasamy Thirukovil Nagalapatti, coming within the jurisdiction of the Assistant Commissioner, Theni, and the representation was made over to the jurisdictional Joint Commissioner. 3.Thereafter, considering the prayer made by the petitioner that for pension, the petition was forwarded to the Commissioner, HR&CE Department. It is further stated that with reference to the similar claims, a committee has been constituted and as per the decision of the committee, a further decision with reference to the representation will be taken. 4.In view thereof, since action as directed by this Court has been taken and giving liberty to the petitioner to approach by way of proper

proceedings, if only the petitioner's request has been negatived, the contempt petition stands closed.
