Respondent PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of writ of mandamus, to direct the respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal dated 19.12.2011 within the time that may be stipulated by this Court preferred before the respondent by him against the punishment of suspension for 3 days imposed on him by the General Manager, Dindigul Region of the respondent corporation in his office proceedings in Ref.Sa.Thu.A.5/688 dated 16.07.2008.

By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 2.The limited prayer sought for in the present writ petition is for a direction to the respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner, dated 19.12.2011 as against the punishment imposed by the General Manager, Dindigul Region of the respondent Corporation in his office proceedings in Ref.Sa.Thu.A.5/688 dated 16.07.2008.

3.Since the appeal is said to be pending from 2011 onwards, it would be appropriate to direct the respondent to dispose it of expeditiously, within the stipulated time.

4.In view of the above observations, there shall be a direction to the respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner, dated 19.12.2011 as expeditiously as possible, in any event, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not already disposed of. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
