ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 419, 420, 465, 467, 468, 471 r/w 120-B IPC in Crime No.25 of 2014 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the State.

3. The case of the prosecution is that the property in question is a house site belonging to the defacto complainant. A1 in this case has set up some other person as if he is the defacto complainant and got the sale deed in respect of the house property registered in his name on 29.07.2013. In that sale deed, this petitioner is one of the witnesses. Thereafter, it is alleged that A1 had sold the said property to another person so as to create encumbrance in that property.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this petitioner, being only a witness, cannot be imputed with the incriminating knowledge. I am unable to persuade myself to accept this contention, because this petitioner, as a witness, has signed the document. 5. Taking into consideration the gravity of the allegation against this petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to this petitioner. Hence, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
