ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to investigate and lay final report in Crime No.80 of 2018, dated 19.02.2018, on the file of the respondent Police within the stipulated time.

2. According to the petitioner, she has given a complaint for the offences under Sections 147 and 436 of the Indian Penal Code. On 19.02.2018, based on the above said complaint, a case has been registered by the respondent police in Crime No.80 of 2018. Even though, the case was registered in the month of February 2018, investigation has not yet been completed.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) appearing for the respondent police on instructions submitted that the respondent police has commenced their investigation and they will complete the investigation and file final report, within a period of one month before the concerned Jurisdictional Court.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file final report, within a period of one month, from the date of receipt of copy of the order.

5. With the above observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
