ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for a Mandamus to forbear the first respondent from preventing the petitioner to travel abroad on the ground of mere pendency of the Criminal Appeal in Crl.A.(MD). No.423 of 2019 pending on the file of this Court. 1/3
2. Heard Mr.K.Prabhu, learned Central Government Standing Counsel for the first respondent and Mr.C.Ramesh, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents 2 to 4.
3. Mr.K.Prabhu, learned Central Government Standing Counsel has placed before this Court a communication dated 07.12.2020 sent by the Bureau of Immigration, which reads as follows:- "With regard to the subject cited above, it is humbly submitted that there is no Look Out Circular existing against the passport No.T2164352 in respect of Mr.A.Avul Hameed Yasin. As such, the Bureau of Immigration has no objection in granting arrival / departure clearance to the petitioner.
2. The Hon'ble High Court may be informed accordingly to dismiss the writ petition as devoid of merits and thus render justice."
4. Since the Bureau of Immigration has granted no objection for the petitioner to travel abroad, the relief sought by the petitioner in this Writ Petition has been achieved.
5. After recording the communication dated 07.12.2020 referred to supra, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
