O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed directing the respondents herein to issue patta in petitioner name in Survey No.405 in an extent of 30 cents situated at Viruveedu Village, Nilakottai Taluk, Dindigul District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 16.09.2025.

2. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. According to the petitioner, he has submitted a representation dated 16.09.2025 to the respondents requesting issuance of a Patta in his name in respect of the property in Survey No.405 in an extent of 30 cents situated at Viruveedu Village, Nilakottai Taluk, Dindigul District. Despite the petitioner's representation, the respondents have not conducted any enquiry or taken steps to issue the patta, causing undue delay and prejudice to the petitioner. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents submits that the petitioner's representation will be considered on its merits and in accordance with law.

Recording the above submission, and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 16.09.2025, on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of fourteen (14) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The representation shall be considered and disposed of after conducting an enquiry. The second respondent is directed to provide reasonable opportunity during such enquiry to the petitioner and also to the other persons, who may be affected by such decision.
