PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to direct the third respondent not to harass the petitioner and his family members in the guise of enquiry and consequently directing the respondents to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and his family members life and limb. ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the third respondent not to harass the petitioner and his family members in the guise of enquiry and consequently direct the respondents to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and his family members life and limb.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that petitioner is a history sheeted rowdy in H.S. No.460 of 2021 on the file of the third respondent police, hence the prayer sought for cannot be granted.

3. Considering the above, third respondent is directed to conduct enquiry on the complaint dated 25.01.2022 after issuing notice to the petitioner and the fourth respondent, conduct enquiry and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
