ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent not to harass the petitioner.

2.The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner is an accused in Crime No.196 of 2019, for the offence punishable under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code. On 17.06.2019, this Court, granted bail to the petitioner on condition that the petitioner shall report before the respondent Police daily at 10.30 a.m. for a period of one month. The petitioner is complying with the condition regularly. But, the respondent Police threatened him with foisting a false case and also harassing him and made him to wait for a long number of hours in the Police Station. Aggrieved over the same, the petitioner has filed the present petition. 3.Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, Mr.K.Suyambulinga Bharathi, learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) appearing for the respondent on instructions, submitted that the petitioner is an accused in this Crime No.196 of 2019 and he has been complied with the condition regularly without fail. He further submitted that the first respondent is not harrasing the petitioner, as alleged by him.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the first respondent to permit the petitioner to sign the register, as ordered by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD). No.7819 of 2019 dated 17.06.2019 and also further directed not to harass the petitioner.

5.This Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of with the above direction.
