Respondents Prayer:- Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. praying to direct the third respondent to give adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioners and also perform to construct foot steps at the temple of Chinnapuliya Iyyanar and Periyapuliya Iyyanar situate at Therkuvalavu Village, Melur Taluk, Madurai District on the basis of their representation to the respondents dated 30.10.2015.

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to the third respondent to give adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioners and also to construct foot steps at the temple of Chinnapuliya Iyyanar and Periyapuliya Iyyanar situate at Therkuvalavu Village, Melur Taluk, Madurai District on the basis https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

of their representation to the respondents dated 30.10.2015. 2.It is represented by the Government Advocate (Crl. Side) that the proceedings under Section 107 Cr.P.C. has been initiated suo motu on 28.10.2015 in Crime No.237 of 2015 and that there is a dispute between the two groups with regard to the temple. Hence, he opposed to grant the relief sought by the petitioners. 3.Taking note of the submissions made by the Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents, this Court is not inclined to grant the relief as such sought by the petitioners. However, the respondent police is directed to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 30.10.2015 and also hear the persons who are interested and are going to be affected and thereafter, decide the issue in accordance with law.

4. With the above directions, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
