O R D E R

The relief sought for in the present Writ Petition is to direct the first respondent to consider the representations of the writ petitioner to grant service and retirement benefits including monthly pension with effect from 01.08.2021.

2. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the first and second respondents made a submission that the grievances of the writ petitioner have been redressed and in this regard, the Managing Director TAFCORN, Trichirapalli passed an order in proceedings dated 06.08.2021. With reference to the benefit of provident fund, the second respondent is directed to send all necessary proposals to the third respondent within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of such proposals from the second respondent, the third respondent is directed to consider the proposal and take a decision and pass appropriate orders with reference to the Provident Fund contribution to the employee as expeditiously as possible including grant of pension under the scheme. The third respondent is directed to complete the said exercise within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of proposal from the second respondent.

3. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
