Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this court to issue a Writ of Mandamus direction to the respondents to conduct election for Yadhava sangam, Paramakudi

vide Regn No.78/2011 by appointing election observer in the light of the proceedings of the 1st respondent in Na.Ka.No.1893/A.2/2015 dated 15/05/2017.

ORDER:- This Petition coming upon for hearing on this day and upon perusing the grounds and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.Ananth C.Rajesh, Advocate for the Petitioner and of Mr.M.Muthukeethaiyan, Special Government Pleader for the Respondents 3 and 4, this court made the following order: [Order of the Court was made by N.KIRUBAKARAN,J.] As per the order of this Court, the Commissioner/Administrator/Retired District Judge/Mr.R.Sadayandi conducted the election and he has also faced some difficulties in conducting the election. We appreciate the work done by the Administrator.

2.Regarding the remuneration, this Court has not fixed any amount. It is seen from the records, for the earlier Commissioner this Court fixed Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh only) as remuneration. Considering the work done by the Administrator, this Court directs the Secretary, Yadavar Sangam, Paramakudi, to pay a sum of Rs.1,50,000/- (Rupees One Lakh and Fifty Thousand only) to the Administrator as remuneration, apart from expenses incurred by the Administrator for conducting the election, within 15 (fifteen) days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3.Since the election has been conducted, this petition has become infructuous. Hence, the same is closed.
