ORDER

This petition is filed to issue a direction directing the respondent to file Final Report in Crime No.35 of 2013, on the file of the respondent police, within the time frame stipulated by this Court.

2.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is the defacto complainant in Crime No.35 of 2013 on the file of the respondent police, which was registered for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 420, 506(i) of IPC and r/w 34 of IPC. The grievance of the petitioner that even after lapse of eight years, the investigation has not been completed.

3.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) would submit that the investigation in this case has been transferred to Tallakulam Police Station, on that ground, he would seeks five months time to complete the investigation.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be a direction to the respondent to complete the investigation and file Final Report before the concerned Court https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.4905 of 2020 within a period of five months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. After filing the Final Report, compliance Report must be submitted to the Registry of this Court.

5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
