Respondents PRAYER: This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the Inspector of Police, District Crime Branch, Karur District/third respondent herein, to give necessary communication to the Branch Manager, City Union Bank, No.10, North Car Street, Tirunelveli so as to freeze the accounts relating to the letters of Credit being transacted vide LC/048/3458974 and LC/048/3458975 dated 20.11.2013 in connection with the investigation in Crime No.7 of 2014 pending on his file.

ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the third respondent to give necessary communication to the Branch Manager, City Union Bank, No.10, North Car Street, Tirunelveli so as to freeze the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

accounts relating to the letters of Credit being transacted vide LC/048/3458974 and LC/048/3458975 dated 20.11.2013 in connection with the investigation in Crime No.7 of 2014 pending on his file. 2.When the matter was posted for admission on 07.01.2015, the learned counsel for the petitioner sought adjournment and on his request, the matter was posted on 12.01.2015. Thereafter, he has not taken any steps to list the matter for admission. The matter is pending for more than 4-1/2 years, without admitting and without directing the notice.

3.It clearly shows that the petitioner has no interest to proceed with the case. At this stage, this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition. Hence, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
