This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to pass a final order in pursuance of the enquiry notice in Na.Ka.No.73/2025/A4 dated 24.11.2025 on the file of the second respondent and consequently to survey the land in Survey Nos. 210/1A, 210/4 and 211/1 situated at Landa Kottai Village, Gujiliamparai Taluk, Dindigul District, within the time stipulated by this Court and in accordance with law.
2. With the consent of the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. The grievance of the petitioner is that though the petitioner appeared for the enquiry on 28.11.2025 along with the necessary documents, in pursuance of the enquiry notice in Na.Ka.No.73/2025/A4 dated 24.11.2025 issued by the second respondent based on the petitioner's application for survey of the subject properties belonging to Page No. 2 of 5
the petitioner, the second respondent has neither passed any order nor conducted the survey. Therefore, the petitioner has been constrained to file the present Writ Petition.
4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submits that the enquiry on the petitioner's application would be concluded and appropriate orders would be passed by the second respondent within a period of twelve weeks.
5. Recording the above submission and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to conclude the enquiry on the petitioner's application and pass appropriate orders on its merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
