ORDER

The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to direct the respondents to disburse the retirement benefits due to the petitioner.

2. The petitioner, who was working as Assistant, was allowed to retire from service on 30.11.2019. The grievance of the petitioner is that terminal benefits are yet to be settled.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader, on getting instructions, made a submission that the competent educational authorities have not received any proposal from the second respondent College Management and only after receiving the proposals, the authorities would be in a position to initiate further action.

4. Thus, the second respondent is bound to verify the service records of the petitioner and submit proposals, if the petitioner is https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.2849 of 2022 otherwise qualified. In the event of submitting such proposals, the competent educational authorities may consider the same on merits and in accordance with law.

With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
