ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed for a direction to direct the first respondent for change of investigation in Crime No.295 of 2011 on the file of the second respondent and entrust the same to the third respondent for investigation of the case and file a final report before the Jurisdictional Magistrate within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that despite the fact that the case has been registered in the year 2011 and anticipatory bail filed by the accused person got dismissed, no progress has been made. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Considering the said submission, this Court is inclined to transfer the investigation from the file of the second respondent with a direction to the first respondent.

5. Accordingly, the first respondent is directed to transfer the investigation pending on the file of the second respondent to any other officer under his control. After such transfer, the Investigating Officer concerned will have to file a final report within a period of four months thereafter, under the supervision of the first respondent.

6. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. Ps Sd/- Assistant Registrar[RTI] /True copy/ Sub Assistant Registrar To 1.The Superintendent of Police, Tirunelveli, Tirunelveli District.
