This case is listed today at the instance of the learned counsel for the petitioner under the caption "for being mentioned".
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the first respondent is the competent authority to consider the petitioner's representation; and that however, in the order dated 03.02.2026 passed in this Writ Petition, it has been erroneously recorded as the second respondent and the same requires correction.
3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would also submit that the first respondent is the competent Page No. 2 of 9
authority to consider the petitioner's request, as stated by the learned counsel for the petitioner and therefore the submissions recorded in the order dated 03.02.2026 may be corrected accordingly.
4. In view of the above, the words "2nd respondent" in paragraphs 4 and 5 of the order shall be read as "first respondent". The word "Special" in the paragraph 4 shall also be read as "Additional". The Registry is directed to carry out the above corrections and issue a fresh copy of the order to the parties, if already issued.

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to complete the enquiry initiated for exchange of land vide COLTNV/7468/2025-G2 dated 26-11-2025 by the 2nd respondent and the proceedings of the 1st respondent in G4/12656799/2025 dated 08-01-2026, based upon the petitioner's representation dated 22-11-2025 in accordance with the G.O.Ms.No.201, Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Land Disposal Wing, LD3(1) Section dated 10-05-2022 and pass final orders on merits in accordance with law within the time fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents.
3. The petitioners submitted a representation to the official respondents dated 22.11.2025 for concluding the enquiry initiated for exchange of lands vide proceedings dated 26.11.2025 and in accordance with G.O.Ms.No.201 dated 10.05.2022. Since no action has been taken on the said representation, the petitioner is before this Court with this writ petition.
4. Learned Special Government Pleader, appearing for the official respondent, submits that the representation of the petitioners' would be considered by the 2nd respondent within a period of twelve weeks.
5. In view of the above submissions, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioners' representation dated 22.11.2025 by conducting enquiry and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from Page No. 7 of 9
the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
