: Respondent Prayer: Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code praying to direct the First Additional District and Sessions Court (PCR), Thanjavur, to proceed the case expeditiously in S.S.C.No.17 of 2015 on the file of the First Additional District and Sessions Court (PCR), Thanjavur and dispose the case, within the time frame fixed by this Court.

O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the First Additional District and Sessions Court (PCR), Thanjavur, to proceed with the case in S.S.C.No.17 of 2015 expeditiously and dispose of the same, within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard both sides.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondent submitted that already trial in S.S.C.No.17 of 2015 has commenced and totally, there are 59 witnesses, out of which, seven witnesses have already been examined and the remaining witnesses are yet to be examined.

4. Considering the fact that already trial commenced, the First Additional District and Sessions Court (PCR), Thanjavur, is directed to proceed with the trial in S.S.C.No.17 of 2015 and complete the same, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
