ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to award adequate police protection to the petitioner's life and limb based on the petitioner's representation, dated 21.01.2023.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner would submit that the petitioner's mother has already filed a suit in O.S.No.58 of 1999 before the learned District Munsif, Ramanathapuram and after trial, the same was dismissed; that thereafter, his mother has also preferred an appeal in A.S.No.3 of 2013 and the same was also dismissed. Subsequently, his mother had died; that the petitioner has preferred second appeals in S.A.(MD)Nos.619 and 620 of 2022 and both the appeals were also dismissed on 02.12.2022.

3. Even according to the petitioner, there is no enforceable decree or order from the competent civil Court and as such, granting of police 2/4

protection does not arise at all. As of now, leaving open the petitioner's rights and remedies, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. 15.02.2023 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes / No das To 1.The Superintendent of Police, Ramanathapuram District.
